After losing this domain years back, I’m very happy to announce that the Proimages Network is back and here to stay!
Here is a road map for our plans and activities in 2011.
1. Proimages com – All I can say is, get ready for WEB 3.0 our system is 180 degree turn from the web of today. We are about creating jobs, building careers, and offering opportunities that didn’t exist until we brought them forth. While we have lost a lot of years and lost site of our goals many times over. From ’1996′ to ‘TODAY’ our goals were always about ‘YOU’ our ‘CLIENTS’ our ‘MEMBERS’ and the END USERS’ gaining in every deal!! Impossible possibly, but what if we never tried?
There is a lot of big money that wants our goals to go away, yet were picking up steam and 2011 is the year you will hear our ‘NAMES’, and understand our goals, because they are your goals as well..To prosper!!
“While the other sites are building islands we are building bridges!!” Darrin Nupuf
Proimages is being revamp to show off the DESIGNS and AD AGENCY level productions we are developing for the numerous networks being launched this year..YES..NETWORKS..each network has somewhere from 10 -100 plus web sites and represent topics like business, arts, stock photo, design, and music. Our flagship product YEARNING.COM features over 28,000 topics and soon will be finished, with 190,000 + topics..each topic is a portal, each portal will be shared by dozens of sites. These networks mesh into numerous other networks and services..Sound complicated?? It’s very complicated and the result of 13 years of development and hard knocks!!
2. Proimages.net – is being setup as a Network Portal for all our Art and Photo sites..around 20, Stock-photo.com is being set up now and many more are being prepped for deployment!! This new stock system will offer a sport shooter system, and rights managed system including ‘Digital Photo’ delivery and ‘Fine Art Printing’ system. We are are reviewing offering micro-stock or running the API from existing sites. Our goal is to help photographers and artists sell, distribute, and protect their work. Too many things are driving down the ‘ARTS INDUSTRIES’ right now, and we are here taking a stand!! Join us and help restore the careers we once new as ‘PHOTO, ART and DESIGN’.
3. Proimages.org – Towards the end of 2011 I hope to establish 3-4 funds. These funds will include core systems and aspects of the network that are being launched as ‘OPEN SOURCE’. In 2010 my 13 years of development efforts were almost unplugged due to hackers, possible bot net attack/attacker, or just google deciding to spider the network and digging into 100000 pages and links with unlimited bandwidth..either way thanks to the dedication of cari.net and serversurgeon.com we survived this situation. Barely!!
It’s also forced a full rebuild of our entire server system. This has made me realize the importance of some of our goals..Is so easy for a project like this to go ‘poof’ thousands of man hours gone in a heart beat..The goal of proimages.org, musiciansfund.com, OAcoop.com, and a few others, is to permanently host the source code from our projects and other projects from around the world. To protect them and help them move forward with hosting an development tools. To spark innovation!!
Our own cloud application system musiciansfund.com was launched in 2003 that puts us well ahead of the term ‘cloud computing’ that didn’t exist for another 3-4 more years when Amazon launched the first cloud service in 2006.
This system can be beneficial to developers within the network as we are establishing the framework on existing code base systems. No one has to learn a new programming language to join this project!! Just like the google cloud, the apps will be provided freely to the world, and archived for later development etc. We hope this provides a new opportunity for developers that’s had brilliant projects and spark new life into them and help keep them alive. Even if just as a record of accomplishment, for the brave individuals that set forth on these time consuming behemoths. Support them, and us!! As innovation is all we have left!!
This is not about the big corps, and 100% about supporting the small inventor being told he’s crazy while exploring a vision or dream..the child that wants to learn an instrument, or kids making art in a school. It’s all the same about passion and freedom to express!
“Optimism is important, you have to be a little silly about the goals you are going to set. There is a phrase I learned in college called ‘having a healthy disregard for the impossible’. That is a really good phrase you should try to do things that most people would not.” Larry Page (Co-founder of Google)
